Ahmed Asante has been disqualified from KNUST CANARSA election polls.
His management confirmed the communique from the Electoral Commissioner CANARSA released yesterday on the Disqualification of Ahmed Asante’s candidature.
A communique signed by Ahmed Asante explained the circumstances leading to his disqualification.
“We confirm the communique from the Electoral Commissioner for CANARSA which was released yesterday on the Disqualification of Ahmed Asante’s candidature.
This comes as a result of the Vice Presidential candidate Alswell Antwi, who couldn’t satisfy the required academic record, as a result of technical challenges with his supplementary exams records not found. Though his CWA meets the required standard for eligibility, the challenges with his supplementary exam results and records is that which has caused the sudden news we all have today.” The communique read.
Ahmed Asante will not be included in the 2021/22 CANARSA elections. The ballot screen only shows 3 presidential candidates.
