Chris Bio, known in showbiz as Cauntry Boy (CB) has finally given an elusive explanation on why he had his dreadlocks cut. In an exclusive interview with yebekagh.com, the Aboa Sika hit maker revealed that he had his well groomed locks barbered for various reasons.
“I’ve always been a great admirer of dreadlocks since a kid and have been keeping mine for quite sometime now. However, it is also very important as an artist that I change my appearance from time to time. I consulted with my trusted hair stylists and after deliberations, we all agreed that this was a step in the right direction”.
The young artist admitted that this move has invited several concerns from loyal fans and music lovers but swore that this would not affect his music career in any substantial way. He promised to continue working hard to give nothing but the best tunes to his fans and lovers. He also hinted of a new release very soon.
The history of dreadlocks dates as far as about 3600years ago in the Minoan Civilization in Crete, now part of Greece. The Rastafarian community has since gained so much popularity among several religious, cultural, social and psychological affiliations. Some dreads lovers usually refer Moses’ book, NUMBERS chapter 6 when defending their choice of hairstyle.
