The Director-General of GES has disclosed that some changes have been made in the SHS school placement module for BECE graduates.

BECE 2020/21 candidates can make changes in school placement a couple of times at the self-placement module.

Speaking in an interview with the Daily Graphic, Director-General, Prof Kwasi Opoku Amankwa said 2020/21 SHS placements of candidates who sat for BECE for School and Private examination will be allowed to do multiple selection of schools until they are finally enrolled.

“Candidates will be allowed to change schools a couple times until finally they enroll in them. So until you enroll in a school, you can continue to do changes up till the enrolment deadline, and once you have the opportunity to change, you do not need to come over here to seek any assistance or for someone to do that for you,” he told the Newspaper.

Prof Kwasi Opoku Amankwa also hinted that the GES will release SHS school placement for 2021 on Sunday, February 20, 2021.
