A coronavirus vaccine from Russia developed by Russia’s Sechenov University to be launched by August is tout to be one of the world’s first coronavirus vaccines.
According to Alexander Lukashev, the director of the Institute of Medical Parasitology, Tropical and Vector-Borne Diseases at Sechenov University, “The safety of the vaccine is confirmed. It corresponds to the safety of those vaccines that are currently on the market.”
The researchers specialised in Coronavirus symptoms claimed that Russia might be one of the first countries in the world to develop a coronavirus vaccine as it has completed the tests on volunteers.
Elena Smolyarchuk, the head and chief researcher at Sechenov University said that some of the volunteers of the “Coronavirus vaccine Russia” study developed minor side-effects of the vaccine candidate including headache and fever.
The first group of volunteers are all set to be discharged on Wednesday and the next lot on July 20 as symptoms subsided in 24hrs.
In conclusion, preparations are being made to launch the Coronavirus vaccine from Russia which is expected to subside the infection and death cases.
