COVID-19: Our recovery rates are high in Ghana but don’t be reckless

The Ministry of Information(MOF) has aired that Ghana Covid-19 recovery rates are high but it does not inform us to be reckless.

Ghana’s information minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, said, “we want you to caution the general public not to use the improving recovery numbers and the declining active case numbers as a reason to be reckless”

Kojo Oppong Nkrumah further explained that previously public statements were sent to educate every citizen of Ghana by Ghana Health Service on how to prevent yourself from getting infected still stands.

He stated during his speech that;

“Washing your hands, using the sanitisers, wearing of face masks to ensure that you dont become part of the positive numbers in the first place before we look forward to your recovery remains.” said the minister.
