Ethics Course: KNUST launches new course to teach students good manners

Information reaching the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology students body vividly declares the beginning of a new course dubbed “Ethics.” The course will be added to the school curricula.

The Ethics course is scheduled to begin from the 14th of february, 2020. Initially, students believed that this new course was introduced only for the Faculty of Social Sciences.

This was because the available letter was signed by Dr. Peter Dwumah from Social Sciences Head of Department.

What are Ethics?

Ethics are moral principles that govern a person’s behaviour or the conducting of an activity.

Oxford Dictionary

The Knust adminstration has a top priority in conteracting bad/immoral behaviors. This led the administration to dissolve the single sex halls ( Unity Hall, Katanga Hall, Africa Hall) into mixed halls.

KNUST recently topped no.1 in West Africa, hence, the administrative body is highly conscious of maintaining the highly esteemed name.

More information will be provided concerning the introduction of the new Ethics course.
