A Ghanaian woman has taken to social media to publicly accuse Pizzaman Chickenman, a popular local restaurant, of scamming her out of a substantial sum of Ghs9,500.
The woman, identified as Sarah Kwame, claims that her ordeal began when she placed an order for food on the Pizzaman Chickenman website. According to Sarah, the entire process appeared to be routine. She carefully selected her items, provided her payment information, and waited for her order to arrive. However, what followed was far from ordinary.
Sarah alleges that after completing her order, she was asked to confirm an intiated POS payment. She later realised she was scammed in two parts, GHS9,000 and GHS500 all to a total of GHS9,500 She immediately contacted Pizzaman Chickenman’s customer support, seeking clarification on the unexpected charge. To her dismay, she alleges that her concerns were met with indifference and denial by the restaurant’s representatives.
