The minister of information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has reinstated that the COVID numbers continue to rise.
According to him this can be attributed to the fact that many people do not comply with guidelines provided by the Ghana Health Service.
“Ghana’s COVID numbers continue to rise. We have been urging the public to continue to comply with the COVID-19 preventive etiquette.” He said.
Revealing more about the new strain of coronavirus, Kojo Oppong said that “the DG of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye was clear earlier today that the new rise is associated with more severe and critical cases.”
Ending the message, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah pleaded that Ghanaians mask up and distance from others.
