The first non-business student to gain General Secretary portfolio becomes the first KNUST SRC General Secretary to publish the KNUST SRC Budget Statement.
OFS together with the Samuel Sesah led administration took over the SRC mandate from the Interim SRC on Thursday, February 4 2021.
According to the budget statement, the SRC Parliament approved the budget on March, 7 2021. The student body is however, skeptical on the genuineness of the statement.
Mr Osei Fosu Solomon (OFS) indicates that funds available to the SRC stood at Ghc1,215,000.00. However upon careful analysis of the resource gaps and semester duration, the executive council has cut down total semester expenditure to Ghc 996,250.00 saving some Ghc 120, 800.00 as reported by Hypercitigh.com
