Only last week, 9th January, 2021, about 10 stores were burnt to ashes at the Rebublic Hall market on KNUST campus.
Fortunately, the fire was stopped right before it could spread to the Hall Annex.
Yebekaghtv in interacted with a few students who happened to have witnessed the scene. According to the students, the fire started at around 1 am.
The fire was only noticed after it had caused enough damage.
