Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology management has instructed the teaching staff of the university to resort to the virtual learning platform to continue academic work.
The directive effective, Wednesday, 25th of March, 2020 will see all administrative/ professional staff with the exception of ‘classified groups’ mentioned in the directive to stay away from the office.
Authorities have decided that students cannot watch movies and idle around with their one-month break. Hence, the E-learning initiative to engage students as well as catch up with academic work.
The directive has asked teaching staff who are affected by the decision to continue their work from home and virtual platforms to engage students.
All assignments, quizzes, and other learning activities will be referred to the University’s virtual classroom which has been equipped to handle all online-academic based activities.
Also from the office of the registrar, students will receive lecture materials from lectures through class reps. The teaching staff is to ensure that there are regular and timely assignments to students.
