Many Kumawood actors including Yaw Dabo, Nana Ama McBrown, Mercy Asiedu, and others are among the Kumawood actors who worked closely with the late Bernard Nyarko.
Nana Ama McBrown during her regular show on UTV received news that her colleague and friend, Bishop Bernard Nyarko, had passed on.
Just as expected, she delivered the news to viewers but began to tear up in moments after the announcement.
According to Nana Ama McBrown, she and other Kumawood colleagues reached out to Bernard Nyarko frequently through his mother to check up on him while he was on a sick bed.
She explained that they were, however, unable to pay him a visit because they were asked to wait to be given the go-ahead.
His illness however, has not been subjected to Coronavirus but to Colon Cancer.
Mercy Asiedu was seen crying vigorously amid family and friends while singing “everybody will die” in Ghanaian local language ‘Asante Twi’.
Yaw Dabo, on the other hand, was seen in a video alone crying uncontrollably.
He wondered who he would talk to about life or share experiences with.
Bishop Bernard Nyarko was reported dead on Saturday, May 2. The actor has not been in good health for a while and many fans are assuming he may have succumbed to the illness.
Yebekagh urged all actors to pray and keep the faith while they mourn the actor and pastor Bernard Nyarko.
