Nana Agradaa remanded, will reappear in court October 16, 2022
In her first court appearance on Monday, Agradaa (also known as Evangelist Patricia Asiedua, or Mama Pat), entered a not-guilty plea to six counts of fraudulent advertising and one count of defrauding by means of false pretenses.
The former fetish priestess was arrested on Sunday (9 October 2022) over accusations of running a money-doubling scam which were leveled against her by members of the public.
In her first court appearance on Monday, she entered a not-guilty plea to six counts of defrauding by false pretense and one count of fraudulent marketing.
Samuel Bright Acquah, the circuit court judge hearing the case, rejected her request for bail and ordered her held without bail until her upcoming court appearance on October 13, 2022.
