Teachers Welfare App: MoE insists on tech for teachers

The Ministry of Education (MoE) insists on a new application, Teachers Welfare App to address the concerns of teachers in Ghana.

John Ntim Fordjour delegate for Minister of Education, Dr Adutwum said at the 90th-commemoration festivity of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) in Accra on Wednesday 24th June 2021 that teachers’ concerns will be tended to with vigorous expeditiousness adding that the Teachers Welfare App will be introduced soon to receive their complaints.

Mr. Ntim Fordjour likewise unveiled that caseworkers would be sent to each area to address and fortuitously resolve the worries of instructors as a component of endeavors to improve life for them.

“The App, an initiative of the Minister for Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, is expected to help mitigate, to a large extent, the many challenges relating to the welfare and management of teachers. We know and understand the importance of teachers in the development of this country, and your concerns and grievances will be addressed with utmost alacrity.”

He also addressed the 280,000 laptops promised by Akufo-Addo.
