Most Universities in Ghana have fully resumed studies but final year students have no idea of when they will complete school.

How did Past Students Complete Final Year

Completing the university in Ghana was a May/June thing. Most final years normally end up completing fully in July. A graduation ceremony is held for final year graduates to transition from being Undergraduates to Postgraduates.

This time around, things have changed a bit. The emergence of a transmittable virus in late 2019 popular in 2020 identified as Coronavirus has caused some setbacks to students in University institutions.

A number of the 2019/2020 academic year graduates were unable to finish their projects and had to switch to review.

How Did The Final Year Students hold Graduation Ceremony in 2020

For the first time in Ghanaian history, a virtual graduation ceremony was held in 2020 to help the final years for the 2019/2020 academic year graduate successfuly.

When Will 2020/2021 Final years complete

The school authorities have taken into consideration the fact that studies have been delayed for the students this year 2021. Plans have been made to help students study on campus. The IT specialists at various institutions are also working hard to make learning partially online.

Although the academic calendar has changed a bit, all students who are meant to graduate this year will still complete this year 2021.

The 2021 final year students will complete between 15 July and 20 August, 2021.
