Born in Nyabite, Nyamira County, Omari attended Nyamira Primary School and completed his CPE in 1977. He then attended Ruiru Secondary School, where he sat for his national exams. Despite his initial academic challenges, Omari chose to repeat his final year at Kiabonyoru High School, where he had his first encounter with one of his future clients, Fred Matiang’i.
Continuing his education journey, Omari completed Form Five and Six at Muguga High School. He was eventually admitted to Kenyatta University to pursue a Bachelor of Education degree, even though his true passion was for law. Despite considering repeating a year once again, Omari was persuaded by his guardians to pursue education, leading him to embark on his teaching career.
Today, Danstan Omari is a prominent figure in the legal field, known for his dedication to his clients and his involvement in high-profile cases. His journey from a diverse range of professions to becoming a respected lawyer showcases his resilience and commitment to the pursuit of justice.
