1. Sarkodie

Michael Owusu Addo, better known by his stage name Sarkodie, is a Tema-based Ghanaian rapper, composer, and entrepreneur. Sarkodie is one of the Rappers followed by president Nana Addo.

It is not surprising that the rapper endorsed Nana-Addo’s re-election in his song with Kuami Eugene titled “Happy Day”.

2. Pappy Kojo

Jason Gaisie, better known as Pappy Kojo, is a Takoradi-based Ghanaian hip hop and hiplife recording musician. His smash tune “Realer No” made him famous. Pappy is actually the youngest on this list.

3. Okyeame Kwame

Kwame Nsiah-Apau is a Ghanaian singer, composer, creative director, and entrepreneur known by his stage name Okyeame Kwame and called Rap Doctor.

In 2017 when Nana Addo first became president of Ghana, Okyeame Kwame shared a message to congratulate Nana Addo while he talked about Ghanaian responsibility. After that, Okyeame Kwame continues to act as a presidential advisor on media platforms.

4. D-black

Among the Rappers followed by the president, Nana Addo is D-Black. Desmond Kwesi Blackmore, known by his stage name D-Black, is a Ghanaian anglophone hip-hop and Afrobeat musician and entrepreneur.

D-Black shared a photo of him and the president congratulating Nana Addo after winning the election. However, D-Black has revealed that he is not affiliated with the NPP but Nana Addo was his father’s lawyer.

5. Flowkingstone

Flowkingstone is a well-known Ghanaian musician who is regarded as one of the top Hip-Hop musicians in Ghana.

Although the relationship between Flowkingstone and Nana Addo is still unclear, the rapper and Hip-Hop artist has been actively supporting Nana Addo. He even put a piece together titled “Year of return” to support Year of Return, Ghana 2019 for Africans in the Diaspora
