Pope visits Ukrainian children war refugees in Rome hospital
Pope Francis visited children from Ukraine who are being treated in one of the hospitals in Rome.
On Saturday, Pope Francis paid a surprise visit to children Ukrainian war refugees being treated at a Rome pediatric hospital.

Since February 24, at least 115 children have died in Ukraine, another 140 have been injured according to the Office of the Prosecutor General. of Ukraine
According to the Vatican, 19 Ukrainian children are being treated for cancer, neurological problems, or serious combat injuries inflicted by explosives at the two branches of the Bambino Gesu hospital. Since the war began, the hospital has treated about 50 Ukrainian youngsters.
Before the conflict, several people were suffering from cancer, neurological difficulties, and other ailments, therefore they fled in the early days of the invasion.
