Vic Mensa was detained by customs upon his return to the United States from Ghana for allegedly possessing drugs-related mushrooms.
According to TMZ, the rapper was apprehended Saturday at Dulles International Airport outside Washington, D.C., where he had just returned from Ghana.
Vic was later called away for a secondary search, according to our law enforcement sources, and that’s when authorities discovered what they suspect to be shrooms.

However, his possession of mushrooms suggests he carried along with illegal Psilocybin (the scientific name for shrooms). This substance remains a schedule I substance under federal law.
