The Accra High Court has granted actress Rosemond Brown, a.k.a Akuapem Poloo GH¢80,000 bail dated Wednesday April 21, 2021.
The court granted her a conditional bail of GH¢80,000.
1. Rosemond Brown has to report to the case investigator every two weeks.
2. She is to deposit her passport with the registrar of the court.
As part of the conditions for her bail, she is not allowed to travel without the permission of the court.
The court presided over by Justice Ruby Aryeetey said, “she will only travel with the express permission of the court.”
In further explanations to her bail, the applicant has satisfied the four grounds of bail pending appeal.
Rosemond Brown was acquited for a 90 days sentence after she pleaded guilty for all charges levelled against her.
A social media uproar caused a stir in the sentencing of the actress. A petition was signed by thousands of pweople across Africa leading to her release.
